Fall tree planting 2017

The Tivoli Tree Committee and volunteers met on Saturday morning to plant two Leonard Messel Magnolia and one Royal Star Magnolia by the new bus stop area of Memorial Park.

The Tivoli Green Committee and the Tree Committee often need volunteers to help with our various projects. Last year we planted daffodils around town. We also planted 10 new trees in the Park and on Montgomery Street.

Home energy assessment – March 8

Energize Red Hook is Launching Wed. March 8 6pm-7:15pm in RH Village Hall


Come learn about the Energize program and meet the Energy Coach and some of the contractors!

Homeowners can get a free or reduced cost home energy assessment, and a pathway to making their home more comfortable and affordable through energy saving projects. Like Solarize, we hope that educating our community and bringing the resources to light will help people move forward on these upgrades to their homes.

New trees planted

On Saturday, October 29th, we planted 11 new trees in Tivoli as part of our new Tree program.  This included two Memorial trees that were planted in the park with celebration. Find out more about our Memorial Tree program here: http://tivoligreen.org/?p=187

Volunteers needed: daffodil and tree planting

The Village of Tivoli Green Committee is holding a DAFFODIL PLANTING day on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5 and volunteers are needed! If you’re interested, please meet behind Santa Fe at 10am, and bring your shovel or bulb driver. The village planted almost 1000 bulbs last year and they’re continuing the effort to make the village bloom in spring!

TREE PLANTING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

The Village of Tivoli Tree Committee is holding a tree planting day on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29 and volunteers are needed! If you’re interested, please show up at the entrance to the Watts de Peyster village hall at 10AM. Bring a shovel and some work gloves. This is a great way to learn the proper steps for planting trees, so if this is something you want to learn more about, this is the activity for you!
